Production Engineer
INVISIO is seeking a Production Engineer to join our Industrial Engineering department in Copenhagen and help improve current process capability, efficiency, and overall productivity in our manufacturing facilities externally on new and existing products.

About the job
As a Production Engineer at INVISIO, you will be responsible for product and production maintenance projects together with suppliers and contract manufacturers worldwide. Your main focus will be on our manufacturing partner in Malmoe, Sweden, as INVISIO has outsourced manufacturing.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee product and production maintenance projects with suppliers and contract manufacturers worldwide, focusing on the manufacturing partner in Malmoe, Sweden.
- Ensure suppliers and contract manufacturers meet quality control, delivery requirements, and cost targets.
- Facilitate smooth production operations by addressing issues and coordinating corrective actions.
- Support design projects, coordinate prototype builds, and conduct build reviews and hands-on tasks on the shop floor.
- Conduct investigations and tests related to development and non-conformities
- Technical interface & coordination between manufacturing collaborators
- Progress tracking and documentation review
- Collect information from new product introductions (learning)
You will join as a valued and essential part of a team of experienced and dedicated colleagues, collaborating and assisting each other to achieve success in our shared objectives.
This position requires the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with co-workers across different departments, such as R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, QA, etc., and communicate across various levels of the organization and manufacturing partners to support the day-to-day operations.
About you
The ideal candidate holds an Engineering or Technical degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent. A few years of experience with manufacturing electro-mechanical assembly, preferably with contract manufacturing, is desirable, but if you are newly graduated in the field, we would like to hear from you too.
Knowledge of product design, electromechanical assembly, machining, tooling, injection molding, and materials is seen as a great advantage because it allows for best practices in providing process improvements.
You must be able to work in cross-functional teams with many different personalities, as you will be in contact with various collaborators.
Must-have skills:
- Have experience in high mix, low volume manufacturing, high volume assembly, and plastic injection molding.
- Have knowledge in reviewing product- and production documentation.
- Have the ability to influence and build relationships with team members positively.
- Have interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Have excellent skills in verbal and written English, as it is our company language.
- Understanding Scandinavian languages is a great advantage.
- Hold a driver’s license and have access to a car.
You must be able to work onsite in Hvidovre, Copenhagen and travel 10-25 days per year, primarily within Europe. In addition, you should expect 25-50 days per year at our manufacturing partner in Malmoe, Sweden.
