Group Controller, Operations

We are seeking an experienced Group Controller with a background in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Production Planning to join our Operations team in Copenhagen.

About the job
As a Group Controller for Operations, you will oversee KPI data, ESG metrics, strategic supplier reviews, approved supplier data, ERP information, inventory data, and related reporting.
You will maintain comprehensive oversight of all relevant information, ensuring you are well-informed about the status and next steps. Your role will involve monitoring and reporting on various areas, maintaining close contact with stakeholders, and collaborating with external suppliers. You will follow up on action points and initiate new actions as necessary.
The purpose of this role is to ensure effective control over Operations activities. You will be a key person within your domain, analyzing, monitoring, and controlling data, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather KPI data and initiate action plans (Suppliers, Customers, Inventory etc.).
- Monthly reporting: Generate Operations KPI reporting through the ERP system in close co-operation with Finance.
- Secure Operations KPI’s towards suppliers and customers.
- Retrieve ESG data/KPI’s from selected Partners
- Assist finance with ESG reporting as it relates to Operations.
- Collect comments, explanations, root causes, and corrective actions to the KPI’s from respective Subject Matter Experts.
- Create KPI’s communications with comments and actions to Sr. management on a monthly (or quarterly) basis.
- Call for and document Quarterly Business Review meetings with strategic and select Partners (Suppliers), following a standard meeting format.
- Track, store, and complete partner documentation according to the Approved Supplier process in close collaboration with Supply Chain and the quality department.
- Analyze spending trends by supplier and suggest and align cost savings initiatives, consolidation opportunities, and other operational improvements.
- In close collaboration with Supply Chain Associates, track activities and improvements/savings.
- Secure reporting within different regulated areas (WEEE, etc.)
- Assisting operations in terms of master data accuracy, inventory, and order reporting and planning in the ERP system.
About you
To be successful in this role, you should have a Financial, Supply Chain, and/or Commercial degree and experience working with companies manufacturing technical products.
The ideal candidate is an open-minded, independent, and self-driven individual who excels in cross-functional teams and is practical about getting things done.
You possess an analytical and structured approach, a high degree of personal initiative, and enjoy working in a dynamic and international environment.
Required skills and competencies:
- Higher degree (MBA or similar) in Business Administration and/or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or other related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in IT systems (Microsoft programs, BI reports, ERP system - Business Central).
- Ability to work with processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent English language skills, both oral and written, as it is our company language.
- Understanding and speaking Danish is a plus.
Additional information
The position is based in Hvidovre, Copenhagen, and you must be able to work onsite at the workplace. We do not offer relocation assistance.
The position requires occasional travel to partner sites and other group locations.
