Technical Buyer

We are currently seeking a Technical Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing from various suppliers and developing relationships to enhance collaboration as we expand our partnerships.

About the job
As a Technical Buyer, your main focus will be staying current with information about your area, suppliers, and the projects you are involved in. You will be important in having an overview, knowing the status, and knowing the next steps in the procurement and project development areas.
You will be in close contact with group stakeholders, suppliers, and project managers. You will follow up on action points and initiate new actions where needed. You will monitor your suppliers and keep our ERP system updated on a running basis.
The purpose of the procurement position is to ensure stable, flexible, and effective procurement and supply chain interaction in projects and working in project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for procurement and order planning from specific suppliers.
- Support projects from a sourcing and procurement perspective.
- Secure work with purchasing seen from a cost, logistics, and planning point of view.
- Working with suppliers regarding quotes and negotiation.
- Optimizing inventory parameters, stock levels, lead times, and ERP master data.
- Part of developing processes and the Supply Chain area within the INVISIO group.
- Continuous improvement, LEAN manufacturing processes.
- QA related tasks in connection with suppliers and inventory hold/data.

Required skills:
- Technical and/or commercial degree.
- Technical insight and/or experience from manufacturing companies.
- Experience with activities in a Procurement / Supply Chain organization.
- Preferably, minimum 3-5 years’ experience from similar position.
- Good sense of order and discipline in documentation, yet practical approach.
- Able to maintain and optimize use of IT systems (Microsoft programs, ERP system (Business Central) with an operational point of view.
- Have excellent skills in English (company language) orally and in writing.
- Can understand Scandinavian languages.
Additional information
The position is based in Hvidovre, Copenhagen, and you must be able to work onsite at the workplace. We do not offer relocation assistance.
The position requires occasional travel to partner sites and other group locations, i.e., the UK.
