Senior User Experience Designer

About the job
As a Senior User Experience Designer at INVISIO, you’ll be part of a growing team shaping the future of our product experiences – from communication technology to hearing protection, from digital platforms to physical products and interfaces.
You’ll work across the entire design process, from research and concept development to prototyping and implementation. You’ll help define, anchor and grow UX as a discipline in the company, introducing new methods, tools, and ways of working. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, sales, and fellow UX professionals to ensure our products are not only functional but also intuitive, ergonomic, and easy to own.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct design research, as well as desirability and usability testing, utilising tools such as Condens and Dovetail for data gathering, analysis and reporting.
- Convert user needs and insights into precise, measurable requirements that inform and guide both design direction and development.
- Define and design user experiences across digital interfaces, physical products and touchpoints with an strong emphasis on quality, consistency and usability.
- Produce scenarios, storyboards, user journey maps and blueprints to visually communicate proposed solutions and pathways.
- Create sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Protopie, Miro, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Apply holistic system thinking, design thinking principles, and methodologies such as Google Design Sprints and Lean UX to drive innovation.
- Collaborate closely with end-users, product managers, engineers and sales to do joint research, co-create concepts and realise experience visions.
- Present and articulate design concepts effectively to colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Help anchor and grow the user experience discipline and mindset in the organisation.
About you
You’re a skilled User Experience Designer with a passion for creating thoughtful, user-centered solutions. You’re not just a digital designer; you understand and care about the tactile, ergonomical, and functional aspects of physical products just as well as you do digital interfaces.
Must-have skills:
- Minimum 5 years of designing experiences for physical and digital products
- A background in UX design, Industrial design, Interaction design or other relevant experience working with a mix of physical and digital products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating work across technical products, consumer electronics, b2b products or audio/communication products
- A strong grasp of ergonomics, button design and how users interact with physical interfaces
- Proficiency in Figma, Miro, Adobe CC or other relevant prototyping tools
- Experience with design research, concept development, and usability and acceptance testing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate not just your own ideas, but also team input and user insights into real, valuable solutions
- Willingness to engage directly with end-user, including field exercises in defense- and public safety related environments

Additional information
The position is based at our HQ in Hvidovre, Copenhagen, and you must be able to be present at the workplace. We do not offer relocation assistance.
You must be able to travel approx.. 20-40 days a year to engage with end-users to test new concepts and understand their behaviors, needs, and opportunities for product improvements.
