Technical Documentation Assistant

We are looking for a Technical Documentation Assistant to join our Technical Documentation Team within Operations in Copenhagen and assist us in meeting the increased demands and requirements for our documentation standards.

About the job
In this position, you will join a team dedicated to ensuring that our technical documentation meets the increasing demands and requirements of the market.
Your main responsibilities will involve overseeing and coordinating technical documentation and related processes. You'll play a key part in optimizing workflows and enhancing how we operate. About half of your time will be spent managing and coordinating engineering change processes – this is the primary focus of the position.
You'll follow procedures carefully and are able to clearly explain their importance to others in the organization. Collaboration is central, especially with colleagues in R&D, Quality Management, and Product Management.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate engineering change processes
- Create and update technical drawings and Bill of Materials (50% of the time)
- We’re not working exclusively in 3D like the mechanical department. Instead, you should use 3D tools to make changes and updates, not to create 3D models from scratch.
- Interface and coordinate technical product documentation between internal departments and our manufacturing partners
- Establish, implement, and secure documentation standards and guidelines
- Ensure product documentation quality and compliance with requirements
- Prepare, review, and distribute product documentation
- Support R&D projects and engineers with documentation needs
About you
We are looking for a candidate with strong planning and organizational skills who can work in a structured manner. The ideal candidate should take ownership of their tasks and effectively plan their day.
You have experience with technical documentation and documentation management, and experience in reviewing product- and production documentation.
Your seniority is less important as long as you are eager to learn and develop your level of expertise and have the ability to influence and build relationships with team members positively.
We are seeking a candidate who is committed to working onsite and actively contributing to the team culture at INVISIO and within the department.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in using document management system.
- Recent experience in using CREO or other 3D CAD systems on a basic level is a must.
- Ability to communicate and work with various personalities across the organization and externally.
- Have excellent skills in verbal and written English, as it is our company language.
- Speaking Danish or any of the other Scandinavian languages is a great advantage.
- Knowledge of product design, electro-mechanical assembly, and materials is an advantage.
Additional information
This is an on-site position, based at our HQ in Hvidovre, hybrid or remote work is not an option. We do not offer relocation assistance.
Traveling a few days per year to our site in UK and external production partners can occur.
