Student Worker - Realtime 3D Prototyping in the UX Design Team
Help bring tactical user experiences to life through realtime 3D scenes, characters, and interactive prototypes.
About the job
Join INVISIO’s UX Design team and help us turn end‑user scenarios into clear, visual, real‑time 3D demonstrations that support concept development, stakeholder communication, and early‑stage product exploration.
You will work with UX Designers, Solution Architects, Product Managers, and domain experts to build believable environments, quick prototypes, cinematic walkthroughs, and interactive sequences that illustrate mounted and dismounted use cases for defense and public‑safety users.
This role strengthens our growing toolbox of interactive demonstrators and supports activities such as early‑phase design discussions, use‑case mapping, and co‑creation initiatives with end‑users.
Responsibilities
- Assemble or create believable tactical environments such as urban, woodland, base, vessels, vehicles, and relevant props
- Create or integrate rigged characters (soldiers, roles, gear variants) and apply animations to stage short scenario beats and communication sequences (e.g., drop‑off → dismount → team coordination)
- Produce real‑time scenes in Unity or Unreal using lighting, cameras, triggers, and simple state logic
- Create quick previs clips, cinematic sequences, and interactive walkthroughs for design discussions, internal and external concept pitches, and research sessions
- Establish an initial INVISIO 3D “DNA” in collaboration with Marketing and UX
- Build and maintain an internal library of vehicles, characters, and reusable 3D assets for virtual use, as well as physical stimuli and 3D print‑outs for terrain tables and tactical maneuvers
- Collaborate with UX and Product Managers to visualize use cases, storyboard scenarios, and export media for presentations and documentation
- Keep work organized through good naming, version control, and documentation practices
- Move quickly from greyboxing to refined look‑development
