Product Solution Architect – Linux Networking

About the job
As a Product Solution Architect, you will drive the INVISIO Solution-proposal for customers, all the way from initial engagement to final delivery, making sure that the customer gets the right solution at the right time. You will work with stakeholders to ensure that the solutions are desirable, feasible and viable in line with INVISIO strategy and the customer requirements. This role bridges the gap between complex Linux platform capabilities and IP networking, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability at the tactical edges.
20-30 traveling days per year is expected for this role.
Your key responsibilities:
- Analyse and understand the solution requirements by working with customers, end-users and solution specialists.
- Lead product solution design-sessions with customers, develop proof of concepts, implement projects, and deliver ongoing refinement and enhancement.
- Design and optimize mission-critical network environments. You will be responsible for creating robust Tactical Networks, bridging IP networking with tactical radios, Mobile Ad-hoc Networks, and satellite transport (e.g. Starlink) to support Defence/Government clients.
- Communicating with internal stakeholders including Products Managers, R&D System architects and Development teams, to ensure everyone is on the same page.
- On-site training of end-users in INVISIO products and solutions.
- Act as Network and Linux expert in tactical communication solutions, being subject matter expert on INVISIO portfolio and industry.
The role is part of the Product Solution Team which interface to both Sales and R&D, with a key responsibility to identify and scope new products and create proposals that represent solutions as answer to customers' needs.
About you
The ideal candidate has a technical background (MSc, BSc) in SW engineering, Computer engineering or communication networks.
You are structured and have analytical skills, combined with the ability to understand end-user needs and how they can be addressed in a technical implementation.
Must-have skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux Networking, preferably in video or communication domain.
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and mitigate technical risks in Solution design and implementation.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- An international mindset and fluency in written and verbal English.
The following will enhance your candidacy:
- Networking & Security: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls (nftables), SSH, IPSec, and security compliance.
- Deep Linux Expertise: Proficiency in major distributions, including performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. Embedded Linux expertise is equally valid.
- Expertise in container environments (LXC, Docker).
- Documented industry experience within defense or public safety.

Additional information
The position is based on-site at our HQ in Hvidovre, Copenhagen. We do not offer relocation assistance.
This position requires approximately 20–30 travel days per year.
