Production Test Design Engineer

About the job

As a Production Test Design Engineer, you will become part of a team that ensures high-quality end-of-line testing of products at our production partners. You will participate in developing the next-generation test system roadmap to support our increasing range of products and production partners.

As we are an international company with production partners worldwide, periodically extensive travelling must be expected.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Take responsibility for the entire process from test specifications in the early project stage to implementation and verification at product release, and improvements and maintenance throughout the lifespan of the product.
  • Bridge the gap between R&D Hardware team and Production Test team, driving “design for test” and enabling early test equipment development.
  • Design HW for test adapters and setups.
  • Develop Test Methods, Hardware and Software for product end-of-line test.
  • Implement and maintain production test setups at our production partners.
  • You will also play a role in implementing our test systems in a data management system to control changes and surveillance of test data. 

 

About you

The ideal candidate most likely holds an Engineering degree or an AP degree in Electronics, IT Technology, and/or Acoustics, and preferably has several years of experience developing production test systems.

You have an interest in working with both theoretical and practical tasks, developing a combination of electronics, acoustics, mechanical equipment, and software for state-of-the-art test systems.

The following will enhance your candidacy:

  • Experience in electronics design to support product testing.
  • Experience implementing product test equipment for manufacturing environment, with the ability to balance theory and practice. 
  • Familiarity with some of the following:
    • Phyton
    • C#/C++
    • TestStand /Labview
  • Preferably, experience with acoustic testing.
  • Ability to positively influence and build relationships with both internal and external team members.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and access to a car.

Additional information

The position is based on-site at our HQ in Hvidovre, Copenhagen. We do not offer relocation assistance.

This position requires approximately 20–50 travel days per year.
